Our History

Our Founder, Mr. Rahman Key, S.H., M.H., CTLC, CCL., CPLA, is a legal practitioner who currently serves as Managing Partner at MANLAW Indonesia Firm. In his role, he leads the firm’s strategic direction and directly handles various legal matters, including civil and criminal litigation, tax disputes, and customs and excise. He has extensive experience in law enforcement processes, from police investigations and trials to further legal proceedings such as appeals, cassation, and judicial reviews.

Furthermore, Rahman Key actively provides corporate legal consulting services, contract drafting, corporate restructuring, and out-of-court negotiations and mediation, with an approach that prioritizes sharp analysis, professionalism, and strategic solutions for both national and international clients.

Previously, he served as a Tax & Legal Consultant at Beazt.id (one of big Indonesian local footwear) and an Associate Legal Partner at Citra Global Consulting, focusing on tax compliance, tax dispute resolution, and the preparation of legal documents and internal company policies. He also served as an Expert Staff at the Indonesian House of Representatives (2014–2019), playing a role in fiscal policy analysis, legislation, and oversight of the financial and tax sectors, including his involvement in the formulation of national strategic policies such as the Tax Amnesty Law.

With a combination of experience in legal practice, business consulting, and public policy, Rahman Key has strong multidisciplinary competencies in handling complex and highly strategic legal issues.
